IIRDE TRUST was founded by K. Sathiya, a dedicated social worker actively involved in community service since 2005. He has worked for three years with Tamil Nadu Christian organizations, gaining valuable field experience in social welfare activities.

He has also contributed through the Tamil Nadu afforestation program by helping bring various public welfare schemes directly to rural communities and improving awareness among village people.

In 2009, he established IIRDE TRUST and has been continuously working for social development through activities such as forming women self-help groups, encouraging savings habits, creating loan facilities for women, assisting in labour welfare board benefits, providing skill development training, and conducting government welfare awareness programs.

Since 2008, he has been actively organizing awareness programs in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Labour Department and the Central Board for Workers Education, focusing on labour rights, welfare schemes, and community development initiatives across Tamil Nadu.
